My new fav thing: Never a big fan of DM's on myself (I love them on others) I was surprised by my instant and compelling attraction to these heeled knock offs. I was in and out of Office before you could say 'charge that please' but then at a mere £25 squid it would have been rude not to.

Boooutiful!

My love for Polaroid’s can only be matched by my love for highly camp musicals, Pharrell (yum, I had a dream about him the other day) and Dolly Parton.

These poetic images produced by fashion designer Rita are totally fanning my newly lit flame for girlie lingerie - lace is more, no?

The Big Bash: The LBD dilemma
Me: I need a party dress for my birthday (it's a big year, this year). I’m getting THE Ashish (below) when I get back - it’ll be too hot to wear it there and I’m scuuured of having it stolen from my luggage (what can I say? I'm a nervous flyer).
So I’m thinking of an alternative party-perfect-piece…
Your thoughts?

New Favourite Thing: Well, you know I’m partial to neon, leopard print and sequins so I can’t say I’m not gutted. Would it really get stolen?! Blimey O’Reilly.
I love the first one (power shoulders + body con = hot) but also love the Preen Power Dress, always wanted one. But you could rock the Lisa Marie Fernandez one HARD. Kimberley from Girls Aloud was just pictured in it last week.xxx
Your thoughts please? Help me decide what to wear for my big birthday party!!!

No to the shoes, No to the Dog
There's simply no staggering away from it, these ridiculous creations resemble one of the most hideous kind of dog there is.

Lookbook Love
I've never heard of the shoe label Illex Kinni. I can't even pronouce the name (i-llex or E-llexx - i don't know...) but what I do know is I LOVE their lookbook and you should too!
Is it me or do these shots look like the well-dressed feet of a hanging man? I don't suppose that was the original thought behind the shoot, in fact I'm pretty sure it wasn't - I mean suicide isn't a good idea, especially when selling shoes.

Check out their A-MAZING lookbook..now...please

The Grand Vintage Ball & Vintage Attire Pageant - now that's a mouthful!
Lady London invited me to The Grand Vintage Ball & Vintage Attire Pageant. The name is a little verbose for such a short night (8pm to 1 am) but what it lacked in length it certainly made up for in BIG laughs.
The ball was like coasting through the most fashionable parts of the last century. The sartorial flashback featured beautiful bias-cut dresses, perfectly sculpted finger waved hair, straight-out-of-'50s prom dresses and sheer kaftan gowns - a steal from Liza Milleni’s closet, no doubt.
Just as beautiful as the clothes was the venue. Stepping into the Rivoli Ballroom is akin to flying back into time. You can almost see débutantes taking their first bows, clutching dance cards. The flocked wall, shimmering chandeliers and diner-style booths immediately transports you to the days when guys were guys and gals were dolls.
There was a pageant, with prizes for the best dressed from each decade and with less conventional categories including retrosexual, dictator's wives, best afro (!?). The obligatory cabaret performance - Bourgeois & Maurice didn't make my slit me wrist, a plus and then there was dancing. Jive, Lindy Hop and Swing gave way to pulsating '90s dance beats. Lady London twirled, I body-popped and the night was concluded in bare feet. Class.
